Okay d_f, my curiosity is in full manic mode now. I don't think bubble tea is sold around here. Am I going to be able to find it in Arlington/FortWorth/Dallas? You trendy Texans! Thanks for the info.

Looks exotic, but I donīt think it would be among my favourite drinks. Of course, I canīt say much until Iīve tried it, but I guess I will have to go to Texas. Those teas are unheard of here... Thanks for the party GIFT!!!!!!!!It was just.....WOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure I could find "bubble tea" in Austin, but I wouldn't. It just sounds disgusting. Yuck!

Don't worry, the tea isn't disgusting, but the pearls of tapioca are a love it or leave it affair. My customers run about 75% love/25% hate, but for the haters they can choose from 6 different kind of sweet or sour jellies (more crunchy then chewy) or just don't put in anything. And if you don't like teas, try our smoothies- we actually make coconut smoothies out of freshly opened coconuts whose flavor is mind boggling delicious to most Americans whose unappreciative experiences usually involve not liking Mounds/Almond Joy at Halloween or German Chocolate Cake (where do the coconut trees grow in Germany, anyway?). Can you find bubble tea in Dallas? Sure- I happen to think my shop is the best, but I am in the north east area in Garland's Little Saigon. If you are in Arlington, Movie & Tea is one of the oldest that is still popular, but for a full blown Taiwanese experience go to Bethany, just south of UT Arlington. In Austin, without a doubt, the best place is Coco's Cafe, though the service isn't what it used to be according to my customers that have visited since the owner built two more shops. I enjoy the one on the drag the most, but it is the smallest, so if you want to bring friends go north to Chinatown or east to Oltorf.
